I don't know if it is a common thing for someone to find an out of state attorney to help with their case, but I would probably suggest finding a mesothelioma asbestos lawyer from your own area since there are different laws in each state. I believe some states have passed laws that prevent someone from being able to file lawsuits for several months, or even being able to sue large companies. It requires some research to find the best person to represent you.
